For the Certificate, a learner is required to demonstrate his or her ability to plan, deliver and review at least 20 hours of coaching and mentoring in their workplace. For the Diploma, this unit is extended to 100 hours of coaching and mentoring, and there is an added focus on assessing their work against best practice standards and benchmarks. The International Coaching Community uses the training programs and methodology created by Lambent, and awarded since 2010 with the European Quality Award in two levels by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council ().This methodology has been used to train over 14,000 people from 67 countries since 2001.
